Can Microsoft Take Advantage Of Apple In The Near Future?

After seeing the integration of Facebook and Twitter in Windows Phone, we are convinced that integrating Skype will bring more benefits; there are voices that speculate that the Nokia models are going to be the first to see when Windows Phone will integrate Skype. If we remember that Elop and Ballmer said at the announcement of collaboration that Nokia devices will have some major pluses to competitors, one is now integrated with Ovi Maps, Bing. Skype could be the one? Highly possible I may say! Finally, some issues remain: Windows Phone succeeds ( one year and a half after launch ) to bring new elements with each update while the iOS and Android based operating systems stalled somewhat.

Google has bought a hardware manufacturer ( Motorola) and is now forced to battle a patent which upset HTC and Samsung alike, the two producers that Google owes its rapid expansion. And there's no Steve Jobs to run Apple anymore. Can Microsoft take advantage of this situation in the near future? We will see; all we can do is wait and hope. Meanwhile, almost a year had passed after the Windows Phone release and they have a good stable platform to allow users make use of the smartphones that run on Windows Phone. I like the stage the platform is in now and I expect the next update that is sure to bring more updates and novelties as well as performance optimizations that are most expected and anticipated by many users, Android and iOS alike. This means only one thing: Microsoft is planning something big and there is nothing that other manufacturers can do to stop or at least minimize the speed of development that the Microsoft teams had got lately.

What this means is that the big powerful company is now back and competing with all other software manufacturers. If Microsoft launches Windows 8 in the beginning of 2012 and the operating system is a stable platform, the users will have a system similar to the iOS in many ways but with the freedom Windows has offered throughout history with all its operating systems. Hence, the launch of the Windows 8 operating system is a very good marketing strategy for the company and since no other manufacturer announced massive launches except Google, it would be appropriate so say that the competition is waiting for this launch to be able to counter it on the long term as there are many secret variables that only Microsoft knows.
